26-Year-Old Joana Kolo Appointed As Kwara Youth and Sports Commissioner

Governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has appointed 26-year-old lady, Joana Nnazua Kolo, as the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development in the state.

Kolo, who is a 2018 graduate of Library Science of Kwara State University, is believed to be the youngest commissioner in the history of Nigeria and just concluded her one year service in Jigawa state. Kolo expressed delight at her appointment, promising to carry out her duties diligently.

She tweeted, “I was inaugurated as the Commissioner for Sports and Youth Development by His Excellency, @RealAARahman on Friday. I return all glory and adoration to Almighty God, I pray for His guidance in actualising the Kwara of our dream.

“I also want to express my gratitude to our indefatigable governor for the confidence he reposed in me to serve as one of his cabinet members. I promise to discharge my duty diligently and not to let our youth folks down.”
