Smart Adeyemi Chairs Melaye’s former Position in the Senate.

Senate President Ahmad Lawan has appointed Smart Adeyemi, senator representing Kogi west, as the chairman of the aviation committee which was previously headed by Dino Melaye.
Lawan made the announcement on the floor of the upper legislative chamber at a special plenary session on Friday.

It suspended legislative duties on Thursday in honour of the late Benjamin Uwajumogu, senator representing Imo north, who died on Wednesday. The senate adjourned till January 28, 2020.
