Gbajabiamila calls for Constitution amendment to fit Amotekun

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, has directed the House to commence constitutional amendment to give Amotekun the legal backing. He stated this during his welcome address at the house on Wednesday.
The Speaker in his statement noted that Amotekun was created due to the gaps in the security architecture in the country.

AGF had declared the outfit but has come to a reasonable standpoint with the Southwest Governors, reservations have been expressed in some quarters of the country on the license of the security outfit.
