Idris Elba Tests Positive for Coronavirus
British actor, Idris Elba has today announced that he tested positive for coronavirus despite not showing any symptom.
In a video shared on Twitter on Monday March 16, the actor said he underwent medical tests after realizing he was exposed to someone who had also tested positive. Idris revealed that he self-quarantined after finding out about the undisclosed person’s test result.
He wrote;
“This morning I tested positive for COVID-19. I feel OK, I have no symptoms so far but have been isolated since I found out about my possible exposure to the virus. Stay home people and be pragmatic. I will keep you updated on how I’m doing. No panic.
“It sucks. Looks, this is serious. Now’s the time to really think about social distancing, washing your hands.”
