No License for 5G in Nigeria yet – Minister
Minister for Communication and digital economy, Isa Pantami has addressed the rumors making rounds as to the health repercussions of the 5G technology which is said to cause to Coronavirus.
According to a statement released to the press, the minister made it known that the country has not been issued a license for the use of 5G technology as a three month trial commenced on the 25th of November to review and study the health and security implications of deploying 5G in Nigeria.
He added that the President Muhammadu Buhari administration will never seek technological advancement at the expense of the health and welfare of its citizens.
