Buhari nominates Okonji-Iweala for WTO role

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the Nomination of Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala for the position of director-general of the World Trade Organisation (WTO).

The nomination was confirmed by Buhari’s media aides, Bashir Ahmaad, on Twitter on Thursday night.
Yono Frederick Agah was initially nominated by the President but it has now been withdrawn.
The election will hold in Geneva, Switzerland in 2021.

  1. Her nomination by Buhari has vindicated the administration of GEj in areas of economy and finance. This shows that all allegation Apc levelled against Pdp in looting the country blind is false. If Apc government led by Buhari can appoint the person that was the Coodinator of the Economy and Minister of Finance in GEJ administration to such an enviable position of Trust in the whole world, then Pdp is far better than Apc. The Apc change is from good in GEJ to bad in Buhari. This appointment confirms it

    1. This woman always say the truth and stand by it, if I could be remember vividly during the GEJ the woman warned him to save for the dry season but they refused so, she is a woman of integrity.
