APC suspends Bulkachuwa for abandoning his Constituency

The all progressives Congress ( APC ) has announced the suspension of Senator Adamu Bulkachuwa representing Bauchi north senatorial district for neglecting his constituency for the past six months.

The announcement of the suspension was made known by executives of Kafin kuka, Kofar Gabas ward of Katagum local government area of Bauchi state.

The ward chairman, Sa’adu Muhammed who insisted that Bulkachuwa is not fit to represent the constituency as he does not uphold the interest of the people, also disclosed that he failed to visit the area to commiserate with the people over the outbreak of Coronavirus and deaths.

“The essence of democracy is primarily to present and safeguard the interest of the populace. A representative should uphold the interest of the people he represents above his personal ones. If he cannot afford to do that, he is not worth to be given the mandate, he said

“The demand and aspiration, pain and agony, needs and wants of the people of Katagum is pitiable because of the senator’s gross misconduct and failure to table it where it matters most – the senate chamber.

“Senator Bulkachuwa has disappeared into thin air, evidently deserted his constituency for over six months now, no iconic presence or project from him is sighted in his constituency all this while, he added.

  1. All of them are birds of a feather. Immediately they get to that chamber they have forgot those who voted for them to got to where they are, if possible his constituency should recall him. May Almighty God bless Nigeria.

  2. Kudos to the community for taking the courage to suspend the senator. Most of the National assembly members go to sleep once they go into office. They turn their back on the people that elected them and only care for their family. I wish other wards will wake and denounce any unperforming elected official in their ward

    1. You’re very right
90 percent of our politicians are there for themselves and their families and friends not for those who sweated and stood all day voting and fighting for them…Jumble politicks
