Buhari cannot govern his home, how can he govern the nation? – Reno Omokri slams Buhari over gunshots at Presidential villa
Former Presidential aide, Reno Omokri says Buhari is unfit to govern the country. He said this Reacting to reports that there were gunshots heard at the presidential Villa.
Shots were allegedly fired by an aide to Buhari’s wife, Aisha during a misunderstanding between the First Lady and the President’s Personal Assistant, Sabiu Yusuf. The scramble and gunshots were said to have led to the arrest of Mrs Buhari’s aide.
In a series of tweets, Aisha Buhari yesterday called on the Inspector General of Police, IGP, Mohammed Adamu to release her aide.
Reacting, Omokri lamented that such was never heard during the administrations of ex-Presidents, Olusegun Obasanjo, Musa Yar’Adua and Jonathan.
In a post on his Facebook, Omokri wrote: “Look what General Buhari has reduced Nigeria’s Presidency to. For 16 years of Obasanjo, Yar’adua and Jonathan’s rule, this never happened. If there is a civil war in Aso Rock, can we have peace in Nigeria?
“Buhari can’t govern his own home. How then can he govern the nation? Is this man a fit and proper person to hold the office of President of Nigeria? How long can we continue drifting aimlessly?”

Guillible Buharists may not agree with u because they may feel their idol presido is too diplomatic to interfer on the action of his wife against his aide or vice versa. But those in the know, knows very well that whoever we have now as Buhari as the president of this country is not in charge of the affairs of this country. Those in charge always refer to the head of the government of the day as the presidency. Then who is incharge. What authority do Aisha have to tell the presidents PA to isolate after a travel. Is she now the president of the country that gives directives
This is what I consider to be madness. The presidential villa that is supposed to be the most secured place in this country is porous like a getho where any drug addict could just display illicit acts….if such act could occur in the presidential villa, then it means the president don’t know what he is doing. He should step down. Its a disgrace, in civilized society, weakness in security depicts a leader is not boyant enough to pilot the affairs of the nation.
