“One Bad Apple should not spoil the whole bunch” – FG reacts to arrest of Hushpuppi in Dubai

The Nigerian Government has reacted to news of the arrest of popular Instagram celebrity, Hushpuppi in Dubai for alleged fraud.
The Chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, NiDCOM, Abike Dabiri-Erewa in a tweet via her twitter handle condemned the act as she stressed that the bad act of one Nigerian shouldn’t be used as a yardstick to judge others.

“Allegations against Ramoni Igbalode a k a Hushpuppi running into millions in fraud. I stress again, not a yardstick to judge NiGERIANS excelling abroad. One bad apple should indeed not spoil the whole bunch.” she wrote.

Hushpuppi was arrested in Dubai with 12 others by Interpol in connection with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, FBI, over alleged fraud.

However, a report published by Dubai Newspaper, the National said the Nigerian was arrested for multiple frauds as him and his friends are currently being questioned by prosecutors at the Bur Dubai section.

The atrocities you politicians are committing is more than that of internet fraudsters, in this lockdown and someone said she spent 13billions naira on home grown feeding imagine that, is that not even more than yahoo, though I should not judge evil with evil, I didn’t say he shouldn’t be prosecuted. so, woman you don’t have a say.

    However it’s their land and their thoughts, assu8we too are developed they will relate with us with appropriate measures. We need to fix our Nigerian youths lest they continue stealing from nations
