I will soon publish names of people who earn above N330m as pension – Hope Uzodinma

Governor of Imo state, Hope Uzodinma has promised toboybkush names of pensioners who receive payment above N330m in the state.

He said this during a meeting with the leadership of the Nigerian Union of Pensioners (NUP) in Owerri stating that the Government will start automating all payments to enable it migrate to the contributory pension’s scheme.

He said

“I’ll soon publish names of those who earn above N330m per annum as pension for Imo people to know.

“Government will no more make use of microfinance banks for payments of salaries and pensions because they are no clearing houses for BVN holders so that pensioners can be paid directly.

“Government has decided to automate all payments to enable it to migrate to the contributory pension’s scheme.”

  2. Can u hear him. This is a man that Supreme court made governor and for over his 100 days in office his government has no direction. He spent billions to steal someones mandate, now he got the seat, he has no idea on how to drive the economic potentials of the state to generate revenue, rather he is busy chasing shadow. As chief executive of his state do he need permition to deal with anybody that defraud the state accordingly including publishing their names. How do these people is is accussing of defrauding the pension scheme affect his inabilty to pay pensioners in his state. This is the type of guvernors that has no agenda for their respective states except to loot
