I wrote Yemi Osibanjo to complain about Magu in 2017 – Mike Ozekhome

A Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Mike Ozekhome, has claimed that he wrote vice-president, Yemi Osinbajo in 2017, giving several warnings that the acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu, was re-looting recovered looted funds.

He said this in a statement on Tuesday saying he wrote Osinbanjo when he was acting president complaining bitterly about Magu, giving facts, figures and data but Osinbanjo never replied his letter.

According to him, he also confronted Magu face-to-face on at least three occasions.
“I wrote a public letter in 2017, to the then acting president, Prof Yemi Osinbajo (SAN) at a time his boss, President Muhammadu Buhari, was sick on a London hospital bed.
“I complained bitterly, with facts, figures and data, that recovered looted funds and property, were being re-looted by the Magu-led team, who were supposed to keep the gate of our commonwealth.”

  1. How can Osinbajo reply you when is is part of the re-looters. Mangu alleged that he released 4billion naira to Osinbajo while he was acting president. Osinbajo should be invited to tell us what he did with that money. When the opposition parties were complaining about relooting of looted money, the ruling party called them wailers, now the man the so called Mr. Integrity chose to fight corruption is the father of corruption to extent that he couldnt give account of 39billion naira. There was indeed a country

  2. Professor yemi osinbajo (SAN) may acknowledge receipt of your letter but he didn’t have the power to query him without the nod of his boss. I remember when he removed DSS boss then (Maman Daura) because of infringement the right of the people but when buhari is back he returned Daura back to his position. Therefore you shouldn’t blame him for not taking any steps/moves.

  3. Nigeria is a country that neglects orderliness and elects corruption to fight corruption
They won’t act until the deed is done and they expect Nigerians to cry of the mil they spilled intentionally for their benefits
    Welcome to Nigeria

  4. Professor Yemi Osinbajo may Acknowledge Receipt Of Your Letter But He Didn’t Have The Power To Query Him unless his ogs permits him
We’ve caught mahu, let’s deal with him
