Ondo Election: Akeredolu emerges APC’s Gubernatorial candidate.

The Governor of Ondo State, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, has emerged winner of the All Progressives Congress, APC, primary which held on Monday in Akure, the Ondo State capital.

Akeredolu polled 2458 votes out of 3127 delegates who voted during the primaries that lasted for about 10 hours.
Akeredolu was announced as the winner of the primary by Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya who is the Chairman of the governorship primary election committee

  1. In Nigeria politics, who can challenge the power of incumbency. He who pay the piper dictate the tune. What beats my imagination is the quest of elected officials for secund tenure. What is that thing the left undone in their first tenure that they want to do in their second tenure. A good leader with good manifestoes set out a time frame for project he intend to embark upon, and four good years in office is enough for any governor to achieve that. The worst of it all is the zeal and tenacity which which they aspire for second tenure. Some use all the resources of the state to achieve that, only to use the term to consolidate his position to Godfather the state.
