Magu’s probe establishes the tradition Buhari’s Government is known for – Malami

The Attorney General of the federation, Abubakar Malami says the recent probe of the suspended Chairman of the economic and financial crimes commission EFCC, Ibrahim Magu is a plus for the Buhari-led Administration.

Malami stated this while speaking on NTA’s ‘One-on-One’ programme hosted by Cyril Stober.

According to him, the fact that Magu is being investigated, proves no one is above the law.

When asked if the probe was not a blow to Buhari’s anti-corruption war, he said; “It goes on to establish the tradition which this government is known for; a tradition of no fear or favour as far as investigating corruption cases or allegations are concerned.
“So, to my mind, it is indeed a plus that reinforces and re-establishes a tradition by which the government of President Muhammadu Buhari is known, re-established to the effect that no allegation of corruption can be swept under the carpet. So, it is indeed a plus and not a blow,” Malami said.

  1. Watch out for your own turn, everything is turn by turn. You are just packing everything into your pocket, I know one God will surely expose all your evil deed.

  2. We will believe you when Babachir Lawal, Lai Mohammed, Brutai etc are also investigated too. You are also figered in some shady deal in auctioning of Nigeria ships ladened with crude oil to China. Untill all of you including those dead ones like Abba Kyari, Isa Funtua, Maikanti Baru etc are all brought to book and your stolen loots recovered, then and only then we will believe Buhari is fighting corruption, otherwise, your asertion is null and void
