Edo Election: All South-South States must remain under the PDP – Okowa
Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa has expressed that all states within the South-South geopolitical zone must remain under the rule of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
He made this call as he urged the people of Edo State to re-elect Governor Godwin Obaseki to bring all states in the region under one political party.
Obaseki’s campaign train held a PDP Ward rally at Ekpon Ward 9 and 10, Igueben Local Government Area of Edo on Wednesday.
Speaking at the event, Okowa said as Chairman of South-South Governors Forum, it is the wish of the governors of the region to remain in one political party for rapid development of the region.
Okowa urged the people of Ekpon to vote massively for Obaseki, describing him as a very good man.

Is it to remain under one political party matter most to you or development of the region? If you remain under a political party without development is meaningless, what should be your priority is development of the region.
The development of the region and Nigerian at large should be your priority, as the chairman of the governors of that region, you should use your position to fight for even distribution of dividend democracy across to your people. Wishing obaseki best of luck.

I still wonder what the gain of party is.
Party is just a nomenclature and matters nothing at all to me.
What matters most to me is good leadership that in turn makes people happy
That you are APC, PDP, APGA and all what and what they call themselves is irrelevant and immaterial after all, all these parties don’t have any ideology so to say
It’s not about being in one political party it’s about having a common goal in favor of the citizens.
Remaining in one political party is not a guarantee to rapid development.
