Religion is not all that matters, God is – Actress, Yetunde Bakare
Nollywood Actress, Yetunde Bakare has expressed her opinion about religion after she converted from Islam to Christianity.
In a post she shared on Instagram, the actress made it known that she was born and brought up as a Muslim, disclosed that she converted because of reasons best known to her, adding that connection with God matters most than religion.
She wrote:
“I was born and brought up as a Muslim and my sunnah name is MODINAT but I’m now a Christian for reasons best known to me
“All the same I love my brothers/sisters in Islam at the end of the day Religion isn’t all that matters, your connection with God matters most JUMM’AT MUBARAK my people

Islam is the religion of peace, we in the country that exercise freedom of religion. Therefore you free to practice any religion you believe in.
There are lots of people who used to convert from Islam to Christian and vice versa that is a barrier, once we are practicing freedom of religion, nobody will penalize you for that and I will you best of luck.
