Covid-19: It costs N400k to treat a patient – El-Rufai
Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna state has revealed that it costs about N400,000 to treat one COVID-19 patient.
The Kaduna state Governor who disclosed this in an executive committee meeting with traditional rulers chaired by the Sultan of Sokoto Sa’ad Abubakar on Monday September 7, called on northern traditional rulers not to relent in spearheading the campaigns to avoid the spread of coronavirus pandemic in the region.
I don’t we have those who have conscience guilt among our leaders, how would you said you spent 400k on each COVID-19 patient? What equipment did you buy for him/her? May God have mercy on us, every leaders are just making use of any opportunities to loot our wealth. Haha! This is beyond explanation.
If you spent 400k on each COVID-19 patient then if you treated 100k that means you have spend #4 billion on them but you treated more than that. All these leaders are truly corrupt and even federal government said they spent #31 billion so far without explanation. Why are they behaving like this, they should be transparent in their dealings. Accountability is more important.

Hmmmmm… That’s too expensive and not every individual can afford that kind of money so they should follow the covid19 guidelines which entails regular washing of hands, wearing of face mask and keep social distancing.
what about people that don’t have that amount,I don’t see any reason to pay for treatment, how can we get that amount when we don’t work
400k is very much some but I know they inflate it so that they canalso embezzled our money
He might be saying the truth o in terms of they used 400k to settle those people they told to claim that they have Covid-19, so that we will not think that its a political virus as Nigerians thought but they cannot deceive the masses becoz we know that they used this pandemic to enrich themselves. Scammers! I don’t even believe the covid19 cases reported in Nigeria. I could still remember Dokpesi, the CEO of AIT come out to say they gave them malaria drug to fight covid19. How come malaria drugs now cost #400k.
