A United states of Nigeria is more likely to survive – Pastor Adeboye speaks on restructuring

General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian church of God, Pastor E.A Adeboye has called for the restructuring of Nigeria into a United state.

In a post he shared on his Instagram page on Tuesday night October 13. He expressed that it is either Nigeria is “restructured or we break up.”

”I believe that we might want to look at the problems of Nigeria in a slightly different manner. Some people feel that all our problems will be over if Nigeria should break up. I think that is trying to solve the problems of Nigeria as if it is a Simple Equation. The problems of Nigeria will require quite a bit of Simultaneous Equation and some of them are not going to be Linear either – forgive me I am talking as a Mathematician.

“Why can’t we have a system of government that will create what I will call the United States of Nigeria? Let me explain. We all know that we must restructure. It is either we restructure or we break, you don’t have to be a prophet to know that one. That is certain – restructure or we break up.

“Now, we don’t want to break up, God forbid.

“Without any doubt, we must restructure and do it as soon as possible. A United States of Nigeria is likely to survive than our present structure, this will help across every strata from the police force, military, customs, civil service as a whole. Without any doubt the present system has just made things difficult for Nigerians young and old and I’m glad to see the new era that we are entering. As we continue to pray and take actions, Let somebody shout hallelujah!

  1. You are correct Sir but if dividing the country will bring peace to the tribe that wants to be independent we have no other option than to let them be. But for now that we are still one Nigeria we will be speaking with one voice as we are doing it now in this #EndSARS protest.

  2. Why is our leaders afraid of restructuring? All what we need is to talk on the areas that we must have changes and I don’t think that will cause us any problem or issues.

  3. We have a lot of resources that it’s enough for us in Nigeria and every individuals will be enjoying but it’s a pity that only few people that is enjoying the common wealth of the country. We need restructuring on this.

  4. To break up is not the issue but what we need is to restructure everything in the country such as allocation, salary and allowances of political office holder, and others. Sooner or later we will still come out on all these issues also.

  5. The marginalization of some tribes is more than too much so it is either we restructure or we break up, so that each and everyone of us goes their separate ways
    I support Pastor Adeboye

  6. That is true and that is why we need to reform every aspect of this country from the lower level to the highest

  7. The country need restructuring from the lower level to the highest level and this protest is just the beginning of big reform to the whole federation

  8. It’s been well said, one way or the other, they will look into it someway, the population now demands for that, and it’s all been long over due.
