IPOB can’t use Rivers to launch attacks – Wike
Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has warned that members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) cannot use the state to launch it’s attacks.
This comes a few days after Wike outlawed the proscribed group in the State. He called on local government chairmen in the state and youths not to allow IPOB to demonstrate in the state.
The Rivers State Governor in a statement released through his media aide, Kelvin Ebiri, described Rivers as the most accommodating state for all Nigerians, he also accused the proscribed group of destroying the states law court and killing policemen and soldiers.
“We can never be against any ethnic group. We can never do that. We have lived in harmony with the Ibos, the Hausas, and Edo people,” he said.
“Everybody that comes to this State we have lived in harmony with. So Nigerians must commend Rivers State as a place where you’ve never had a problem between this group and that group.”
“There’s one terrorist group they call IPOB. I didn’t declare them a terrorist group, the court declared them a terrorist group, not me.
“The federal government declared them a terrorist group. IPOB can’t use Rivers State to be a place where they’ll be launching attacks. If you allow that, your future, your children’s future is gone,” Wike added.
“Go to Oyigbo and see what they’ve done. They destroyed the court. What did the court do? See the soldiers they killed and burnt them. See the policemen they killed and burnt them and then you said people would sit and fold their arms?”
Wike your plan will not work, IPOB must exist, all you evil politicians preferred Armed Fulani herdsmen ,Northern bandits and Book haram that are killing thousands to IPOB that never carry any ammunition, but singing and dancing is the only weapon they have. You politicians hate them because they are kicking against your evil doings,you are giving a dog bad name in order to kill it,it will not work for you mindless politicians, people are tired of you,if you don’t repent behold the anger of God .Let Biafra be so you can have peace.
Nnamdi Kanu is the Genesis of all this problems in Rivers state when he ordered ipob to kill and destroy everything and persons that comes against there agitation.He wants to use Rivers State as a platform to cause chauos but our able Governor won’t let it.Great. Great Rivers State! Great Naija Delta!

And we know your mind, all this you are doing is just sakamanje,… I know you are in support for them but you don’t want President muhammadu buhari sanction, that’s why you shows assive you are not with them. IPOB should not turn there self to country terrorist, they should be very extra careful… because governor wike did not allow nonses in his State. But my advice to governor wike….is to do what to be made according to the construction. After the warning you gave them…if they failed to follow your instructions, you can do what to be done to them.
My friend those things you mentioned that was destroyed in your state was not the handwork of the IPOB Members o.
So don’t involve them (IPOB) in this case please.

That’s good development and it is absolutely good for the state in order to allow peace to reign. If the government allows this IPOB to protest in the state, it might cause another unrest.
This IPOB may cause civil unrest in the state that’s why it was proscribed by the federal government, if you too proscribed it nothing bad in it, in order to allow peace to reign in the state.
At least you took this decision at the right time when everything is not normal in the country and governor must also prevent what could also lead to the destruction of lives and properties in the state.
