CNN Documentary: “How did Aunty Lauretta go from criticizing the Government to blindly siding them?” – Toke Makinwa questions

Media personality, Toke Makinwa has called Presidential aide Lauretta Onochie over her statement on the documentary released by CNN on the Lekki toll gate massacre.

Lauretta had accused the News agency of lying about the findings from their investigations.

Reacting to this Toke Makinwa expressed confusion as to how Lauretta went from criticizing the government to blindly siding them.

According to her it is sad how these politicians use the masses to garner votes in promise of a better future but once they achieve their aim, they forget all their promises.

“I will sincerely love to ask Aunty Lauretta what changed? Like, how did she go from criticizing the government to blindly forgetting the side she once took, is this how it works? Wow

“Honestly it is sad, sad how they use us to garner votes with empty promises to do better and once they get there, they forget. We need to sensitize the general public and educate the grass roots, if they cannot be bought we can stand a chance because ko ye mi mo o, she said

Toke further reacted to Lai Mohammed’s call for CNN to be sanctioned over the same documentary

She stated that Nigerian leaders always find a way to shock people. Toke went on to say a prayer for Nigeria.
