Money laundering: Ndume to be remanded in Prison for failure to produce Maina in Court

A federal high court in Abuja has ordered that Senator representing Borno South, Ali Ndume be remanded in kuje correctional facility for failure to produce Maina in court.

Senator Ndume stood as surety for Maina who is standing trial on alleged money laundering charges.

Maina has failed to appear in court for the continuation of his trial and because of this, the judge ordered a bench warrant for Maina’s arrest anywhere he is sighted.

  2. I hope this order will be sustained. Elite criminals will be working freely in the country while ordinary will be jailed for stealing goat.

  3. That means maina has ran away, once he can’t show up to continue his trial. That means the suretee should pay the uptimum price for standing for the thief in the country.
