Hisbah’s threat against the Black Friday phrase is nonsensical – Shehu Sani

Former Kaduna Lawmaker, Shehu Sani has reacted to Kano State Hisbah group’s letter to Cool FM over their use of the word “Black Friday” for their Black Friday Sales.

The group had warned the radio station that Friday is a holy day for the Muslims and should not be termed black.

Shehu Sani in a tweet said the comment from the group is nonsensical as whatever color is added to the Muslim’s day of prayer does not matter.

He further advised that the group should focus on the killings and kidnappings going on in their domain.

”Friday is our sacred day of prayer as Muslims. Whatever colour is added to it doesn’t matter. Hisbah’s threats against the phrase “Black Friday” is nonsensical. They should focus on the killings and kidnappings going on in their domains. Their services are needed in the battlefield. ”he tweeted

  1. I don’t even see anything wrong in calling days whether black, blue or white. I don’t these people know what they are doing.

  2. Ishba or whatever! Are they not like police in the Kano state? Then, why are they after black or white. There’s a lot of things to tackle in kano instead of looking for black or blue Friday.

  3. Wonder shall never seize, everybody just want to exercise their power without thinking of repercussions. Ok oooo.

  4. There’s nothing wrong tagging Friday as “Black Friday” coz it’s a day reserved in honor and worship of a terrorist prophet who brought untold problems to many families in the world through his hate and jihad teachings… Northern Muslims are only religious not godly

  5. Are the hisbans or what do you call them trying to say that black is a bad color or what
This is unfair nah to say

  6. This is ignorant at the highest level, people are using the Friday to sale their market you are making it an issue, God should have Marcy on you.
