“Saying terrorism will last twenty years signifies resignation and bankruptcy of new strategies” – Shehu Sani
Former lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani has reacted to the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai’s statement that there is a possibility terrorism will last for another twenty years in Nigeria.
Reacting to this, the former Senator in a tweet expressed that the statement which is coming after many claims of victories by the military shows the failure of the military leadership.
According to him, it shows the Chief of Army Staff is void of ideas and strategies in the fight against terrorism.
He wrote:
“Telling our people that the Insurgency will last twenty years, after repeatedly misleading claims of victories attest to the failure of those saddled with the responsibility of leading the fight. It also signifies resignation and bankruptcy of new ideas & strategies.”
I was thinking so too.
After telling us that they have technically defeated bokoharam, I am surprised to be hearing this again from them

So he is praying for terrorism to last for twenty years in this country* GOD FORBID BAD THING* God won’t allow that to happen, but wait o is it that Buratai is one of the sponsors of these terrorists, if NO why did he say such a thing.
True talk, what matter most to them is how to acquire more money to their family and leave Nigeria in a state of coma nothing else.
This is act of coward and lack of responsibility….. All securities advisers, minister and joint chiefs should be dismissed with immediate effect…..
Humans life doesn’t matter to them even if everyone is killed and remain only two people life goes on. Wicked people, they are just looking for a way to kill all of us.
Wickedness of the highest order. If buratai doesn’t have anything positive to offer, he should just resign and allow new ideas to come in.
Most of these Nigeria army are compromising even the effort of good citizens who is ready to give out information about this bokoharam of a thing but later they will be the one to point fingers to those who gives information about bokoharam.
This government is playing with lives of citizens. Why can’t they put an end to these terrorist
Shehu sanni you don’t need to blame the chief of army staff….buratai….buratai is already a failure to Nigeria army, well I can’t also blame the called buratai, the problem came from the useless President we have which is useless President muhammadu buhari thats not capable on anything. Take look at the situation on ground in Nigeria today. What buratai said has shown his failure to us, because he is not encouraging Nigeria to stay bless. Is absolutely mad speech.
