US cancels fee imposed on Visa Application for Nigerians

The United States has removed the reciprocity fee imposed on visa applications for Nigerians.

This was disclosed in a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and took effect from December 3.

“The ministry of foreign affairs wishes to inform that the United States government has removed all visa reciprocity fees for Nigerian citizens seeking visas to the United States,” the ministry’s spokesman, Ferdinand Nwonye, said.

“The positive development is in line with the removal of excess visa application, processing and biometric fees for United States citizens applying for Nigerian visas by the Nigerian government”.

  1. This is good to hear and it is commendable
At least people who are traveling to the United States of America will now spend lesser funds

  2. If United States do not rebuild their country nobody will even ever willing to travel to the states, Nigeria also should rebuild their own country so that people will be traveling here.

  3. When things are going backwards everyday, why won’t people travel out of the country. Shame on our government.
