Desperate Politicians aligning with bandits to destabilise Nigeria – Umahi
Ebonyi State Governor, Dave Umahi has alleged that desperate politicians align with bandits to destabilise the country.
Speaking after a virtual meeting on Tuesday with the five governors of the region in attendance, Umahi expressed worry over the killings and kidnappings of Nigerians.
He said;
“The governors are so worried about the killings and kidnappings that are going on by our people in the southeast, killing our own people and the security agencies,” he said.
“The situation is being heightened by the activities of very desperate politicians, this time irrespective of party affiliations.
“There are so many desperate politicians in all the political parties that are so desperate for power and they have aligned with some bandits in the southeast to destabilise the nation.”
That is true but also they wants good reaction from you as the leaders of your states to provide security for them.,..
Then why can’t you do the findings and bring the culprit into book by giving them capital punishment in order to serve as deterrent to those who had the same ambition in their hearts.
How is it difficult for you people to apprehend them or are they one of you? That’s why it is difficult for you to arrest them. It’s for you to do the needful.
You politicians are the one causing issues in the country, until you people are patriotic enough to shelf your ambition for patriotism, things won’t change for good.
Until the government reduce your salaries and allowances because the money you are is meant for nothing, everything you are using is free then while taking such huge amount of money. You are the one sponsoring those people with unaccounted money you are earning.
Name names and stop generalizing all politicians. You that hurriedly left the party that made you who you are today to run join the ruling party, just for your selfish interests, are you not among the desperate politician that want power at all times. As chief executiveofficer of your state, you have every thing at your disposal to eliminate bandits in your state. You have human and materials at your disposal, what else do you want
Ohh. Are you serious? So you people are behind the fracas going on in this country? I said it, that the hand of tough politicians must be in this things that’s why it’s not ending
