Only God can give victory over Insecurity – Adesina
Femi Adesina, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, had called on Nigerians to pray for the country as it goes through its war against insecurity.
The presidential spokesman expressed that Nigerians who fail to commit the security situation into the hands of God could be guilty of indirectly prolonging the war against insurgent
He made this statement in an article titled, ‘The Decent for the Indecent, the Just for the Unjust,’ on his Facebook page.
Adesina who shared a short viral video showing a soldier and four others singing that victory is from God alone said that many Nigerians have failed to understand that only God gives victory.
He wrote;
“But victory is from God alone. That is what we must realise as Nigerians. Do we ever pray for our troops in the frontlines? Do we remember those youths, our pride, and strength, faced by death daily, as we sleep in the comfort of our homes, ensconced in the tender bosom of our wives.
“As we pray; God give me money. Give me a car. Give me a promotion. Kill my enemies. Do it now. Do we ever remember our soldiers? When you left your room this morning, did you think to pray…did you pray for our soldiers? Victory comes from God alone. If you don’t pray, you may be guilty of prolonging the war in North-East, North-west, North-central, and all over Nigeria,” part of the article read.
He further expressed that rather than seek divine help for security, some people have become wailers.
But this is doing nothing when he his suppode to provide security for people and property of this country….
What of those who we adice to do something and he doesn’t take to the advice, what do we call that one Mr adeshina?
Just keep deceiving yourself, what has your government done to improve the security of the nation before you expect God to intervene.
If you don’t know how to do something and someone brought an idea which the person think that it will solve the problem but you still stick to your own approach and you are telling God to come to your aid, you need to exhaust those ways before praying to him then he will now know that you have exhausted your power.
I don’t think adeshina knows what he is saying because if he does he won’t be saying rubbish.
Talking rubbish, how many time dose US citizens pray for there military? You people should buy equipment for your military and stop sponsorship of boko haram. Then this whole drama will end. You do not need our prayers.
So you know this… before you started baking the useless administration Leeds by president muhammadu buhari. Let’s keep on calling God for his Mercy.
Then why are you sending young Nigerian to their untimely graves. Why are you spending billions to procure arms to fight terrorist Why not fold your hands and leave God to fight insurgency. Heaven help those who help themselves. No amount of prayers will fight your fight for you until you do the needful. Why have your impostor president and your presidency refused to sack the service chiefs. A prayer without good work is useless.
He is the almighty
He is the want that can protect us.
God help us Most expecially I’m this country NIGERIA
