Wounds of civil war have not healed— Bishop Kukah

Bishop of Sokoto Catholic Diocese, Matthew Kukah has expressed that the wounds of the civil war have not yet healed.

Speaking at the second edition of the ‘Never Again Conference: 51 years after the Nigerian-Biafran civil war’ which held virtually on Thursday, Kukah advised Nigerians to compile a history of the country. According to him, knowing the country’s history will calm/qualm the taste for violence.

The Bishop called on the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration to fix the challenges of the country as Nigerians and the leaders are not happy about the current situation of the country.
