Once it rains, Africans think of women instead of agriculture – Reno Omokri reacts to report of Bauchi carpenter who wants 40 children

Reno Omokri has expressed that Africans have misplaced priorities. The former Presidential spokesman said this reacting to report of a Bauchi carpenter who said he wants 40 children.

A 36-year-old Bauchi carpenter in an interview with Leadership Newspaper had revealed that he is proud of becoming a father of 13 after his four wives gave birth within 3 weeks. With the new births, he now has a total of 13 children (10 boys and 3 girls).

Reacting to this, Reno Omokri in a tweet stated that the story of the Bauchi Carpenter is a symptom of why Africa is poor. According to him, Africans think of sex when it rains instead of agriculture.

He tweeted;

“The Bauchi carpenter who wants to have 40 kids is a symptom of why Africa is poor. In 1960, Nigeria’s population was 45 million. UK’s was 52 million. In 2021, Nigeria’s population is 200 million. UK’s is 67 million. Once it rains, Africans think of women, instead of agriculture!

  1. When one man is having forty children when he is not a billionaire, how is he going to take care of them? This is saddened.

  2. If Nigeria continue like this I don’t think we will advance beyond this level, maybe if there is division maybe those in the north will learn their lesson.

  3. Africa with black mentality, instead of looking forward on how their family would move forward they engage in giving birth to more children.

  4. You can’t compare Nigeria with UK because Nigeria is endowed with everything but misuse by our leaders, but not withstanding, we shouldn’t be given birth to the children which we won’t be able to take care of.
