Nnamdi Kanu threatens Wike over Obigbo killings

Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu has threatened Rivers Governor Nyesom Wike over killing of IPOB members in Obigbo.

Kanu claimed that Wike will be hunted for the rest of his life over the killings of IPOB members and other innocent residents following a clash between the group and security operatives in Obigbo, in 2020.

The IPOB leader made this known in a tweet he shared via his twitter handle on Thursday, 25th February. He warned that Wike will be hunted by both domestic and international legions.

He wrote: “Anyone close to @GovWike should tell him that till the last days of his miserable life, he will be HUNTED down for all the atrocities he spearheaded against my people at #Obigbo.

“He will be hunted by legions, domestically and internationally. And it will be scorched-earth and fiery.”

Members of IPOB had allegedly engaged security operatives, a situation that led to the killing of people in Obigbo area of Rivers State.
