Heavily pregnant athlete wins gold medal in Taekwomdo at Edo 2020

A pregnant athlete, Aminat Idrees has won a gold medal in Taekwondo at the ongoing 20th National Sports Festival in Benin, Edo State.

Aminat who is said to be 8 months pregnant, won a gold medal for Lagos in the Mixed Poomsae category in Taekwondo alongside her male counterpart, Arowora Roqeeb.

The University of Lagos graduate, also won Silver in the female team Poomsae category and an individual bronze in the same category making her one of the leading medalists at the ongoing festival.
