Attahiru: Buhari declares Monday work free day

In honor of the late Chief of Army Staff, COAS, Ibrahim Attahiru, President Muhammadu Buhari has declared Monday a work-free day for the Armed Forces.

Buhari also ordered that Nigeria’s national flag be flown at half-mast across the country.

This was according to a statement by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Boss Mustapha late last night.

The statement reads: “His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari has authorized that the national Flag of Nigeria be flown at half-mast in all public buildings and official residences across the country, with effect Monday May 24 to Wednesday May 26, 2021.

“The approval is to honour the late Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru, ten military and service men who lost their lives in the plane crash on Friday.

“The President has similarly approved a work free day for members of the Armed Forces on Monday, May 24, 2021.”

  2. Declaring the flag in halfway can’t solve the problem but look for issue of the plane crash and solve it once
