Be courageous to do the right thing – Aisha Buhari sends ‘strong message’ to Minister of Communication and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami

First Lady, Aisha Buhari has addressed an Instagram post to the Minister of Communication and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami.

Aisha on Sunday, September 12 shared a video of Pantami crying during one of his sermons. The minister cried after his reciter read a verse of the Holy Quran.

The verse was from Surah Maryam and it read; “That is the Garden we shall give as their own to those of Our servants who were devout.” Pantami who cried after the verse was read, said “O Allah! Make me one of them. O Allah! Make me one of them!” Sharing the video, Aisha attached a short Hausa caption to it; “A chire tsoro a yi abinda ya dace”, translated to “Be courageous to do the right thing” in English.

The Instagram post was shared three weeks after Pantami joined Yusuf, her son, with Zahra Bayero, at Bichi Central mosque in Kano.
