“It’s beyond us” Nigerian supermodel, Oluchi Onweagba celebrates as her son is signed by McLaren Racing

Ugo Ugochukwu, the first son of Nigerian supermodel Oluchi Onweagba with Italian Fashion Designer, Luca Orlandi has been signed by McLaren Racing, one of the top racing teams in the world.

Ugochukwu, 13, represents the United States and has been winning racing awards since he was 8.

His many achievements including the most recent 2020 FIA OKJ European Championship, caught the attention of McLaren, the same racing team that signed a young Lewis Hamilton, who has gone on to dominate the world of Formula One.

Reacting to her son’s signing, Oluchi Onweagba wrote on Instagram: “Thank you GOD! Angels in the heavenlies Thank you! Watch over your Son. @ugougochukwu It’s beyond us.”

Ugochukwu also took to Instagram to announce the news, writing: “Thank you Mr Zak Brown and the entire Mclaren team for believing in me. Together, we will get there.”
