Kaduna Govt visits families of slain Students, insists on Non-Negotiation

The Kaduna State government has sent a delegation to sympathise with the families of the three students of Greenfield University who were killed by bandits two days after their abduction.

The delegation led by the Kaduna Commissioner of Education, Shehu Mohammed, visited the families of the students in Jaji, Barnawa, and Sabon Tasha areas in Igabi and Chikun Local Government Areas.

The Commissioner while consoling the parents of the deceased students over the unfortunate incident, reiterated the governments efforts to beef up security around schools in the state and also relocating students from schools located in vulnerable areas to safer places.

He also maintained the state government’s position not to negotiate with bandits even in the face of the present situation, noting that what is required is the collaboration of all stakeholders to fight the common enemies.

“There are due processes for one to follow to seek redress. For somebody to take arms against his fellow citizen is unconstitutional and unacceptable and the governor will not tolerate that,” Mohammed said.

  1. Campaign after election, is your visiting going to change anything? Your visiting has no meaning

  2. If you can’t secure the life and properties of your people, you can kindly resign and handover to another
