Ronaldo pens farewell tribute to Juventus as he returns to Manchester United
Cristiano Ronaldo has penned an emotional farewell letter to Juventus fans after he left the club to return to Manchester United on Friday.
The 36-year-old in his farewell tribute hailed Juventus as “the biggest club in Italy” and one of the biggest in Europe.
Ronaldo however admitted that they did not achieve all they wanted although they had good memories together.
“Today I depart from an amazing club, the biggest in Italy and surely one of the biggest in all of Europe.
“I gave my heart and soul for Juventus and I’ll always love the city of Turin until my final days.
“The “tiffosi bianconeri” always respected me and I tried to thank that respect by fighting for them in every game, every season, every competition.
“In the end, we can all look back and realize that we achieved great things, not all that we wanted, but still, we wrote a pretty beautiful story together,” he wrote.
Welcome back home my CR7 of the 2008 champions league
You really gave your best to them
Congratulations to Manchester United fans
