They desecrated the church to make an arrest? – Former Aviation Minister, Osita Chidoka, condemns security officers for invading church during mass to arrest Uche Nwosu

Former Aviation Minister, Osita Chidoka, has condemned security officers for invading a church during Sunday mass to arrest politician Uche Nwosu, former governorship candidate in Imo and son-in-law of ex-Imo governor, Rochas Okorocha. Nwosu was said to be attending the outing service for his late mum at the St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Eziama-Obaire in Nkwerre Local Government Area of Imo State on Sunday, December 26, when security agents stormed the church and arrested him.

Chidoka in his reaction described the act as unacceptable adding that the church and ”well-meaning” Nigerians shouldn’t take it lying low.

“So Police entered a Church and arrested Uche Nwosu? They desecreated the Church to make an arrest? This is unacceptable and the Church and all well-meaning Nigerians should not take this lying down. Nigerian Police just fell to a new low under a clueless national leadership, he wrote
