2023: Atiku saying he will take PDP ticket is going too far and taking the delegates for granted – Wike

Governor of Rivers state, Nyesom Wike has slammed former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar for expressing confidence that he would clinch the Presidential ticket for the Peoples Democratic party, PDP.

Wike said it is taking things too far and taking the delegates for granted.

Atiku had during a visit to Olusegun Obasanjo residence a few days ago said there was no time he has ever failed to get the Presidential ticket.

Reacting to this, Wike expressed that the result of the PDP convention will come as a shock to people.

He said; “I didn’t expect him frankly speaking to say that he will always take the ticket of the party. That is going too far and taking the delegates for granted. People should watch. There will be shock as far as PDP convention is concerned. People should watch what is going to happen. People like to underrate so many persons and it is not good in politics.”
