Dino Melaye implicated Atiku, Ayu, PDP leaders, all should be arrested – Fani-Kayode

All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Femi Fani-Kayode has said Dino Melaye of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has implicated top stalwarts of the opposition party.

He said this reacting to a statement by Former Lawmaker, Dino Melaye

“All the PDP Governors spent money at our party’s National Convention to get Senator Iyorcha Ayu elected as National Chairman, Dino was quoted as saying

Fani-Kayode in his reaction called on the Federal Government to invite Dino Melaye for questioning on the matter

The former Aviation Minister described the former Kogi Senator’s revelation as “a grave and serious matter”.

“I hereby call on the Federal Government and the security agencies to invite Senator Dino Melaye to shed more light on how much each of the PDP Governors gave for Ayu’s “election”.

“I call on them to arrest and prosecute Iyorcha Ayu and the entire NWC of the PDP for being accomplices to a criminal act, beneficiaries of the crime of corruption and accessories after the fact,” he said.

He added that if security agencies fail to act on the matter promptly, “some of us will have no choice but to take this matter up in court”.
