Desmond Elliot reacts to attack on his LP counterpart Olumide Oworu by thugs allegedly loyal to him

Actor cum politician Desmond Elliot has reacted to the attack on his Labour Party counterpart, Olumide Oworu by thugs allegedly loyal to the APC lawmaker on Tuesday.

On  Thursday, March 16, Olumide tweeted that thugs invaded his campaign rally, which held on Tuesday, March 14, at Iponri, Surulere.

The attack was confirmed by the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Benjamin Hundeyin. ”I can confirm that but I don’t have all the details yet, he said.

Reacting to this, Desmond Elliot in a statement released on Facebook condemned the attack adding that he has called on everyone, to allow reasons prevail and put their emotions under control in the interest of all Lagosians.
