”This life is just cruel, why does God let some certain things happen” – Nigerian mourns the death of his 7-year-old nephew

A Nigerian man named Stephen Kumator Nyamkyume is mourning the death of his sister’s 7-year-old son, Sesoo KingDavid Tyohemba, who tragically passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2023. This devastating loss comes four years after Sesoo’s father’s demise, and the young boy will be laid to rest on Wednesday.

In a heart-wrenching message, Stephen expresses his disbelief, stating that even after more than 24 hours, it still feels like a surreal dream. He questions why such unfortunate events are allowed to happen and wonders if the burden on his sister is simply too much to bear. He struggles to find the right words to console his sister during this unimaginable tragedy.

Stephen mourns the untimely passing of Sesoo, who departed only four years after his father’s death. He acknowledges the immense challenge his sister faces as she tries to recover from this fresh wound while still coping with the loss of her husband. Hearing his sister’s uncontrollable cries only adds to Stephen’s own emotional distress.

In his grief, Stephen questions why it seems like his sister has been forsaken by God. He bids farewell to his dear nephew, Sesoo, hoping that God will reunite him with his father in a place of eternal peace and comfort.

He wrote;

“IF THIS IS KIND, THEN LIFE IS JUST CRUEL! After more than 24 hours and it still feels like I’m dreaming. Why does God let certain things happen? Is this not just too much for one person to bear? What exactly can someone say to console my sister at the point?,” he wrote. 

“How could my little Sesoo die just four years after his dad’s demise? How can my sister heal from this fresh wound when obviously she’s been trying to recover from the shock of loosing her husband? Hearing her cry uncontrollable breaks me down even more!

“God! Why have you forsaken my sister? My little Sesoo is gone!! Farewell, King David. May God re-unite you with your dad in His bossom.”
