I’m still in disbelief – Billionaire’s daughter, Hauwa Indimi shares photo of tomatoes purchased for N8,000

Hauwa Indimi-Yar’adua, the daughter of Maiduguri’s wealthy oil tycoon, Mohammed Indimi, expressed her frustration with the escalating prices of food items in the country.

As a mother of two, she shared a photograph of a small basket of tomatoes that she purchased for N8000 in Abuja.

“I sent my people to the market and as of yesterday, this is N8k tomatoes. Still not over it,” she wrote on Monday, July 3” .she wrote on Monday, July 3rd.

Currently, tomatoes are remarkably expensive, with a basket ranging between N45,000 to N50,000, depending on the market and state.
