Fight Wike at your own peril. He is a man of capacity – Fayose tells PDP

Former Ekiti State Governor Ayo Fayose has cautioned the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) against taking action to remove former Rivers State Governor and current Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike from its ranks. Wike, a prominent PDP member, campaigned against the party in the 2023 presidential election and has been appointed to President Bola Tinubu’s cabinet.

Speculation has arisen that the party may consider suspending or expelling him due to what some view as actions contrary to the party’s interests. In a recent interview with Channels TV, Wike openly challenged the party to expel him.

Reacting to this, Fayose warned the PDP to fight Wile at their own peril

He said; “Some people say fight Wike, expel Wike, sack Wike. I think they do that at their own peril. You see, the first thing in your family even when you have extreme situations, or indifferences, is not to drive away your wife or husband. Wike is a force in the PDP and beyond PDP, a force you cannot ignore. Ignore Wike, sack Wike, or fight Wike at your own peril. He is a man of capacity
