Presidential Jet: To be fair, Seyi Tinubu worked hard for his father’s position today – Daniel Bwala

Daniel Bwala, an aide to Atiku Abubakar, the 2023 presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), defended Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, amidst criticism for using the presidential jet to attend a polo match.

Bwala argued that Seyi Tinubu worked hard to contribute to his father’s presidential position and therefore deserves the treatment he is receiving. Seyi Tinubu faced backlash for flying in the presidential jet to Kano for the finals of the Kano International Polo Tournament. Bwala also emphasized that the responsibility lies with those who permitted Seyi to use the presidential jet.

According to him; “To be fair to @Stinubu Seyi Tinubu, he is a member of the first family and has worked hard enough for this father @officialABAT Tinubu’s presidential position of today, I dare say more than 7 governors combined.

“Besides, if all the people in this government who worked against democracy could enjoy same privileges, I do not think Seyi should be visited with indignation like that.

“Besides, he doesn’t have the power to just hop into the jet, somebody in the hierarchy of govt. Made it happen. Let’s rather point the fingers to the right direction.”
