Atiku and Obi can actualize their presidential ambitions after the second term tenure of President Tinubu in 2031 – Ganduje

Abdullahi Ganduje, the chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), has asserted that the Supreme Court’s decision to uphold President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s election serves as evidence that the presidential election on February 25 was not manipulated, as alleged by the opposition.

In response to the apex court’s ruling, Ganduje, through a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Edwin Olofu, suggested that the presidential candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, and the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, should wait until 2031 when Tinubu would have completed his second term.

Ganduje called on Atiku and Obi to set aside their differences and collaborate with President Tinubu in order to steer the nation toward sustainable growth and development.

“Nigeria belongs to all of us, it is our responsibility as patriots to pool our resources together to move the country forward. I congratulate both Atiku and Obi on their dogged fight in extending the frontiers of our democracy and law.

”This is democracy. Tinubu’s victory is another victory for democratic rule in the country. There is still room for both Obi and Atiku to actualize their presidential aspiration after the second term tenure of President Tinubu in 2031
