Former EFCC Boss, Bawa regains freedom after 134 days in detention

After more than 134 days in detention, the Department of State Service has freed Abdulrasheed Bawa, the former EFCC boss who was embroiled in controversy.

On the night of October 25, 2023, Bawa regained his freedom following his arrest by the secret police on June 14, 2023, just hours after President Bola Tinubu had suspended him from his position.

Amidst celebrations and joy, Bawa has been reunited with his family and friends.
