Tinubu arrives Riyadh for Saudi-Africa Summit

President Bola Tinubu has touched down in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to attend the Saudi-Africa Summit set for Friday, November 10.

Upon his arrival in the Middle-Eastern nation, President Tinubu was warmly welcomed by ministers, members of the National Assembly, and other government officials at the airport.

According to Ajuri Ngelale, the presidential spokesman, the visit aims to reinforce the ongoing economic reforms within the administration significantly.

The inaugural Saudi-Africa Summit will center discussions around bolstering collective action, improving political coordination, and addressing regional security challenges.

Ngelale also highlighted that the summit will facilitate economic transformation through research and the local development of new energy solutions, to foster enhanced cross-sectoral investment cooperation.

Accompanying the President are the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar; the Minister of Education, Professor Tahir Mamman; and the Coordinating Minister of the Economy and Minister of Finance, Mr. Wale Edun.

This delegation also includes the National Security Adviser (NSA), Malam Nuhu Ribadu; the Director-General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Ambassador Ahmed Rufai Abubakar; and the Chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Malam Jalal Arabi.
