Former federal lawmaker Shehu Sani has characterized the Appeal Court’s decision, which invalidated the election of Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang, as a blatant act of theft in broad daylight.

The Appeal Court in Abuja, on Sunday, November 19, nullified Caleb Mutfwang’s election as the Governor of Plateau State. In a unanimous judgment led by Justice Okong Abang, the Appellate court directed the Independent National Electoral Commission to revoke his Certificate of Return and award it to the All Progress Congress gubernatorial candidate, Nentawe Yiltwatda.
