BREAKING: DSTV makes u-turn, SuperSport to televise AFCON matches

The SuperSport channels on DSTV and GOtv are set to broadcast all 52 matches of the 2023 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament in Cote d’Ivoire, as officially confirmed in a tweet on Wednesday night.

Multichoice had announced last week that DSTV would not have the capability to broadcast the AFCON as they did not secure the rights.

However, SuperSport, in collaboration with NTA, will broadcast the live coverage of the tournament from Cote d’Ivoire. The AFCON 2023 is set to commence on Saturday, January 13, 2024.
