Mrs Emefiele, others declared wanted by the EFCC

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has announced that the wife of former Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, Godwin Emefiele, is wanted. She is being sought along with a CBN official named Eric Odoh, a businesswoman named Anita Omoile, and a Bureau De Change operator named Jonathan Omoile.

They are accused of collaborating with the former CBN Governor in the conversion of substantial amounts of money belonging to the Federal Government of Nigeria. Allegations suggest that following her husband’s arrest and court charges, the wife of the ex-CBN chief reportedly went into hiding.
