We will NEVER agree to their Marriage- Wofai Fada’s Father-In-Law explains his position as family release disclaimer to REJECT her
Wofai Fada’s engagement to her partner, Taiwo Cole as well as their traditional wedding in Ugep, Cross River State has been rejected by the Groom’s family because the event was allegedly held without the notice of the family.
In a leaked audio conversation between Taiwo’s father and his female friend, Kunle’s father addressed the relationship of his son with the actress and his stance for a public disclaimer. According to the father, Wofai Fada is 38 years old while his son is 30; and the marriage arrangement was recently mentioned to him without proper arrangements.
He stated that his son who met Wofai Fada 7 months ago claimed she was pregnant with his child, reason for the rush to Wed without wasting time unlike his father’s suggestion to investigate her background.
“He doesn’t know the girl more than 6 months; and you know with have affiliation with kings. I told him we have to go through these routes and then proceeded to print wedding invitation. I was then called to the palace with him and he started pleading when asked why he did that without my consent. This girl is 38 years old, and my son is 30. We reached out to the girl’s father, he said we should come in May and the next thing we saw was wedding invitation.”
“He said the girl was pregnant and we told him to cancel the wedding and allow the girl have her child in peace after which we will do the proper marriage rites. Only to wake up this morning to more than 40 calls that my son was having his wedding. His mother whom I divorced 27 years ago too was present at the wedding. That’s why we can never agree to the wedding.”

In the middle of all the drama, a statement was released to the media from the Cole Family of Victoria Island Lagos.
The disclaimer which was signed by Engineer Kunle Cole on behalf of the family, noted that all acquaintances, family and friends do not have awareness of any marriage between their son, Taiwo Olakitan Cole and Wofai Fada and there was not any permission granted in this regard.
They told the public to debunk any publications and documents being circulated about the wedding.
This news was made public by someone who also claimed that the actress is pregnant.
Recall that Wofai Fada shared beautiful photos of herself and her lover whose identity she concealed from the public. She shared these lovely photos on her official Instagram page. The pre-wedding photos captured her showing off her engagement ring while kissing her husband.
From the caption, it is noted that the couple will be tying the knot in this same 2024 even if an they are yet to announce the official date for the wedding.
