Those agitating for Biafra are mad – Rev Uma Ukpai
Uma Ukpai, popular evangelist, has slammed members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, and the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, over their agitation for a new republic.
Speaking to members of his ministry in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, on Tuesday, Ukpai, who is the founder of a 50-year-old Uma Ukpai Evangelistic Association, stressed that those pushing for the actualisation of Biafra are mad people.
“There will always be crazy people, even when people are seen to be normal.
“Whoever is agitating for Biafra shows the level of his madness, but everybody is mad, the difference is the level of your madness,” he said.
He did not use it on the nagative sense. He used it to explain how desperate one should be pursuing what he desire.
The prophet that ok ought to be preaching the words of God are the one cursing people saying they are mad, what are we going to gain from his word.
I don’t really get this. Is he saying they are mad for what reasons?
He should have made himself very clear instead of throwing aspersions on people
We have different pastors in Nigeria, most of them have left their primary assignment and engaged in what that doesn’t concern them and even if it concerns them there are so many ways to correct wrong doing but not causing them.
In the first instance why using the word mad, if you see the mad person, can you wait for him/her. This statement is so ridiculous to be coming out from the person that we call man of God. Our religious leaders have turned to other things nowadays.
Na you know
That is true cuz the government of Nigeria will not allows such a thing to happen… That is ownthe country is gonna be till the end of life

that this man is pastor does not give him the right to say everything he should mind what he is say
I think he was misunderstood. He was not coursing them but calling them strong people
That is quite true.

I will just reserve my comment because you are a man of God, I don’t want to encure the wrath of God upon myself but that’s the least I expected to you say.
Pastor sir, with due respect sir… You are not lane a good example us as pastor you are. That statement is absolutely wrong coming out from a hole the man of God. Is absord. Nigeria we split into any number if what we are expecting is not so… President Muhammadu buhari is the cause of the problem roaming about in the country he is not a good example of a leader.
I don’t think he used the words as being portrait by the media, I don’t think it’s possible for pastor to utter such statement in the presence of congregation. Media should be careful not to problem among Nigerians because this may lead to something else.
Hmmmmm…. Fingers crossed.
